The MPLSS hosts myriad events each year for undergraduate students looking to pursue a career in the field of law. We invite a diverse set of schools from the US, Canada, and Australia to help you navigate the process. Law school admissions officers talk to our membership about the application process and life at their respective law school at our forums. We also hold talks about cross-sector issues relating to law with McGill professors and prominent judges.
In the winter, lawyers from different areas of law take the stage to discuss their professional life and why they love what they do. The MPLSS hosts networking cocktails, LSAT preparation sessions, and our annual Moot Court Invitational as well. Our events provide unique networking and learning opportunities that are otherwise not offered on campus.

What a success! Thanks to everyone who came out to the Mock Admissions Council with the Assistant Dean of Admissions of UCLA Law, Rob Schwartz. We had over 60 of members in attendance and we hope it was helpful to you all.

He also discussed what they look for and emphasized the importance of being yourself in your application! Thanks to Mr. Schwartz for coming all the way from California and we hope to have him back next fall.
